Like Daniel, Revelation is full of ?images? and signs?. ; apart
from that, ?mystery? ?is found in it four times. Therefore, to
understand the book, one needs to decode the signs,
interpret the images, and demystify the mysteries. Failure to
do that has made it difficult for every man to understand the
book and benefit maximally from it for almost 2000 years.
Also, reading through the book, many terms are given
interpretations or meanings. In Rev. 1:20, ?seven stars? is
interpreted to be ?seven angels of the churches?, and ?seven
candlesticks? interpreted to be ?seven churches of Asia?; in
Rev. 5:6, ?seven eyes? is interpreted to be ?seven spirits of
God sent into all the earth? (KJV); in Rev. 5:8, ?? odor? ?is
said to be ?the prayer of the saints?; and in Rev. 12:9, the
great red dragon is said to be an old serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, who deceives the world.
